Service bands

Our Ceremonial Unit consists of three groups: the Concert Band, the Corps of Drums and the Colour Party.

They formed back in 1984 and have been representing the Service through music, marching and colourful displays ever since.

Musicians include retired firefighters and support staff, as well as talented residents of Devon and Somerset with a background in music.

Here you’ll find more information on the groups, including a brief background, the types of events they attend, the requirements for joining and how to book them if you’re interested.
