Fire Control received several calls reporting a fire in Pawlett, Somerset this evening.
Firefighters are using a main 45mm jet, a Compressed Air Foam (CAFS) jet and one hose reel jet to extinguish a fire within a woodshed 14m x14m and are making steady progress preventing fire spread. The building is approx. 3m away from the main property and efforts are being made to protect this by fire crews at the scene. A Water Carrier from Bridgwater is also on scene.
The fire involved wood and metal containers in a building of wooden construction and the fire had spread to the fascias and gutters of single storey extension. The shed was 100% damaged by fire. Crews have now left the scene.
