Ambulance called for assistance with a person trapped in a car. The vehicle had left the road and was upside down on a filling station forecourt on A38 at Dunball. Firefighters liaised with paramedics to create a rescue plan. For safety electrics were isolated to the jet wash area and two sets of hydraulic rescue equipment were used to extricate the casualty. Firefighters also made the vehicle safe, stemming a fuel leak using small tools and environment agency supplied equipment. The casualty was taken to hospital by air ambulance. Police also attended the incident.
